Welcome to Evans GoldenDoodle Puppies
Goldendoodles and mini Goldendoodles are a mix of a Poodle (or mini Poodle) with a Golden Retriever. Mini Goldendoodles are friendly companions that get along with everyone. Because of their temperament, mini Goldendoodles usually get along very well with children and other family pets. Goldendoodles are friendly, outgoing, intelligent, and can be highly obedient with proper training.

CARE TIPS FOR YOUR GOLDENDOODLE
One of the most lovable attributes of a Doodle is their soft, shaggy fur (hair coat). Because of the Poodle genetics in our hybrid breeds, most Doodles require regular grooming to keep their low-shedding fur tangle-free and beautiful. Many families opt to take their doodle to a professional groomer on a semi-regular basis (often every 3 months or so is pretty typical). Other families desire to groom their Doodle on their own. Maybe to save money by not going to the professional groomer, or maybe just as a way of spending more time with their Doodle while they groom.
The first step in grooming your pup is brushing out their fur. To properly brush out your Doodle’s coat you will want to have a Grooming Comb and Slicker Brush. A slicker brush is handy for fluffing the outer coat on your Crockett Doodle. A slicker brush is simply a brush that’s dense with very thin, strong and bendable pins. These hundreds of pins work at separating hairs, which de-mats your dog as you brush. A grooming comb is used to remove any of those hidden mats the slicker couldn’t reach. The comb is dual-sided with coarse, fine teeth and is an essential tool for finishing and fluffing coats. It’s perfect for finishing your dog and making sure they’re 100% clear and free of tangles. You will want to use the slicker brush and grooming comb to brush your entire Doodle’s coat in a line brush fashion. To brush a line, use the grooming comb to pull a section of your Doodle’s fur up and then use the slicker to brush your dog’s fur down until the section is de-tangled. You should see a line of your dog’s skin while brushing their fur away from each other, hence the name “Line Brushing.” Continue this process throughout their entire coat so that their fur is mat and tangle free.
Your dog’s crate should become your dog’s personal den where he/she finds peace and solitude. This will only happen if you introduce it the right way—positively. While this may seem like a lot of work at the beginning, rest assured that it will most certainly pay off. In the end, it will provide comfort for the dog, and peace of mind for you—knowing your family member is safe, secure, and not shredding your house while you’re gone. Recently there has been a stigma against crating your dog. Some of the reasons cited is that it is unnatural and inhumane. What most people don’t realize is that a dog’s natural instincts is to retreat into a den-like home where it sleeps, takes refuge, and raises a family. However, there are some owners that mistreat the intended use of a crate. We genuinely hope that you recognize the incredible responsibility you have as a dog-owner.
He was fine as soon as we picked him up at the airport and didn’t seem at all shy which was great. You did a great job socializing him. He was a little explorer as soon as we got him back to the house and has been a bundle of fun and energy ever since. He has a very sweet nature and is happily settled in. Hard to believe it has only been a week, my daughter feels like she has had him forever! Your help and instruction to get him off to the right start have been invaluable. You really know what you are doing with your dogs. Thanks so much for all your help. He truly is beautiful and a joy to have in our family. She named him Cody and I think it suits him just right. ~ Georgia
